For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem’s sake I will not remain quiet, till her righteousness shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch. – Isaiah 62:1
Let me begin by borrowing the opening statement from Joseph Dumond’s amazing www.sightedmoon.com website: Many web sites proclaim to tell the truth. At this site you should be able to follow along from your own bible and prove the things that are stated here. Remember it is of no value unless you too can prove it and share it with others. Do not share it if you can not prove it. This only causes confusion.
The articles on this site will cause many to be offended and yet are provable by the scriptures. It is our own traditions that our fathers taught us that causes us to err. Our fathers have taught us lies …
… even as they quote with authority from their Bibles.
You have not come here by accident. There is divine purpose in your arrival. Just what that purpose is I cannot say. It depends very much on whether you believe the terms and conditions of the Covenants that God made with the Israelites have any relevance to Christian life today.
As you read you will find that I believe these Hebrew Covenants are foundational. They are the only true link that Christians have to the God of the Christian Bible – and the only God who can offer us an eternal life of peace. That makes it important.
There is a hole in the Christian doctrine about salvation and what is required of us after that salvation. It is a hole we have inherited from Constantine’s priesthood through our Catholic Christian roots. It is a gaping great hole that Satan has been working to keep hidden for seventeen hundred years. Many of us have left Catholic Christianity behind, but still carry some of their baggage. Sadly Satan has not had to work very hard – we have been content to believe a lie … or perhaps more than one lie.
I pray that you will continue reading, and that as you do you will find that your relationship with our creator is both strengthened and deepened.
The purpose of this website is to draw attention to the huge body of scripture in both the Old and the New Testaments identifying a pathway to eternal life – but this pathway is clearly marked in both Old and New Testaments as being given to Israel. The New Covenant referred to in the book of Hebrews (read ‘Israelites’) says clearly it is made with Israel. The patterns we are taught in our churches for redemption and salvation are patterns that were given to Israel. An Israelite became the sacrificial lamb according to the pattern given through Moses. He said clearly “I came for the lost sheep of the House of Israel.”
Our English New Testament has been transcribed by Christians for a Christian audience. This Christian audience 1700 years since Constantine still has it’s roots in Catholicism, which was strongly anti-Jew and anti-Semite, and built around ‘replacement theology’. Regardless of how many steps our denomination or belief structure may be from third century catholic Christianity we have still inherited many beliefs that come from that anti-Israel origin. Classic among these is how the heckles go up if we ask our pastor or priest why we do not keep the full Ten Commandments of Moses. Why do we celebrate the pagan festivals of Christmas and Easter, but not the Hebrew Passover (which is not the same as Easter) and the other commanded Hebrew Festivals. And why do we not keep and promote the Shabbat (the seventh day Sabbath), the seventh year Sabbath Year, and the Jubilee Year?
And yet for all the above we still claim to be connected to, and chosen by the Creator-God who chose Israel to be his set-apart people – and who is on record as making all of His Covenants and promises exclusively with those Israelites. If what I am saying seems to you to be far-fetched or deluded, please take the time to read some of the studies here and leave your comments telling those who follow you exactly where I am wrong – and please quote scripture so I can correct my error. Just don’t waste precious time with personal opinions. Life is too short for that. A scripture-based position that is in conflict with Yahweh’s position as stated across the whole body of scripture is a weak and poor position. A scripture-based position that is supported by the body of scripture from Genesis to Revelation is a strong position.
If you agree with what you read I would love to hear from you too!
Thank you for taking the time to read this far. You are not here by accident. I pray that the purposes of Israel’s Yehovah, our covenant honoring Lord, the Master and Creator of our universe will be worked out in your life as you wander down these ancient paths with us.
Unless you have somewhere specific you want to start, you might like to begin the journey here …
